3.1 Transport

If you are using a ramp, make sure it is intact, secured to both the vehicle and the ground and is free of anything that might make it slippery. The machine comes equipped with inbuilt advanced electronic systems called variable speed drives or frequency converters. When transporting, it is important to ensure the machinery is properly secured at all times to eliminate bouncing. Floor Grinder and Dust Collector must be secured separately.  Ensure the chassis or frame section of the machine is secured down at all times when in transit. The machine should always be transported undercover limiting the exposure to natural elements – in particular rain and snow.

3.2 Lifting

Before lifting the machine, be sure to define the risk area and check that nobody is present within the area when lifting. Use an approved lifting device to secure and lift heavy machine parts.

Secure the machine using all lifting eyes so that it will remain level when lifting.
