The Husqvarna patented X-Torq® engine provides a lot of power but is still able to keep both fuel consumption and emissions low. With the X-Torq® engine on K 1270, all Husqvarna petrol driven power cutters now have the patented engine solution, that uses air to flush out the cylinder instead of using fuel mixture as in a conventional two-stroke engine. Besides the X-Torq® engine, that contributes to lower emissions while keeping the exceptional power, K 1270 also comes with a new magnesium blade guard (on 14" and 16"). The magnesium contributes to a light weight, which gives an improved power-to-weight ratio. In addition, the new stepless adjustment on the blade guard on all new K 1270 power cutters makes it easier to change cutting position, which in turn facilitates cutting. K 1270 also has a new filter cover design. “These features put together contribute to improved ergonomics – and a great advantage for the user”, says Johan Simonsson. In addition, this new powerful power cutter has digital ignition, something that already exists on Husqvarna K 970 and Husqvarna K 760. Digital enables improved startability, acceleration and response.
