Wet cutting is the preferred solution in most cases, but sometimes dry cutting is the only way to go. For example, when water is in short supply, or when regional regulations forbid slurry.
With Husqvarna K 770 VAC and Dry Cut, you get the power and proven qualities of the lightweight K 770 power cutter while adding the benefit of dust extraction. The construction of the blade guard will help collect the dust while cutting, and it will then be transported away and contained.
K 770 VAC is equipped with a flexible hose connector that is easily attached to an external dust extractor – like Husqvarna S 26 – providing superior dust transportation and containment.
The flexible and portable K 770 Dry Cut is instead equipped with a cutting arm with an integrated fan. The fan’s strong airflow (100 cfm) effectively removes the dust and transports it to a designated bag where it’s kept contained thanks to the integrated nozzle. The bag is washable, reusable but can also easily be disposed.
Both power cutters provide a cutting depth of 123 mm – a depth very close to that of a 14" machine. The integrated gearbox reduces the speed of the blade in order to optimize the removal of dust, transporting it via the blade guard, either to the external VAC unit or the external bag.
Using Husqvarna’s dry cutting power cutters will help increase operator health and safety and, at the same time, give you a slurry-free workspace, minimising the need for cleaning or preparing the work site. The easiest way to achieve a perfect cut – without the dust.
