Husqvarna introduces floor saw FS 500 E - zero emissions and convenient efficiency

14/10/2019

For customers looking to meet sustainability targets, without compromising on operational efficiency, Husqvarna introduces FS 500 E – a small push floor saw powered by a powerful electric motor. The saw is CE certified and provides ample performance with zero CO² emissions.

Husqvarna FS 500 E, the latest addition to Husqvarna’s floor saw range, is a versatile electric floor saw that will enable companies to reach their sustainability targets without compromising on productivity. Thanks to the powerful 7.5 kW premium IE3 electric motor, there are no harmful emissions and noise levels are significantly lowered. Furthermore, the motor minimises vibrations to a level below 2.5 m/s², allowing for more comfortable operation.

“FS 500 E has been CE-Eurotest certified and is IE3 compliant, which means that it complies with health, safety and environmental regulations. The low vibration levels, the ergonomic design and the absence of fuel emissions make it an excellent machine for smaller service and repair jobs”, says Erik Edvardsson, Director Product & Service Management at Husqvarna Construction Products.

Easy to operate and transport

FS 500 E is versatile enough to be used for a majority of floor sawing applications with cutting depths of up to 192 mm. Thanks to its compact size, it’s easy to lift and transport and the automatic soft start, phase error detection and phase shift plug ensures ease of use. The built-in water tank makes it possible to work without external water supply and the optimised flow to the diamond blade keeps water consumption to a minimum.
