9.1 Filter cleaning


T-line

When the nanometer reaches red, filter cleaning is needed. This can easily be done from outside the tank via JetPulse air pressure.

S-line

The conical pleated filter provide long, uninterupted service and can be cleaned efficiently from outside the tank via JetPulse air pressure.

9.2 Longopac


Longopac Refill

The Longopac® is usually 22 meters long, make sure to change before the 22 meter mark.

Change bag

The Longopac® bag hose system ensures simple, dust-free bag changes. Remember to turn off the machine before changing bag.

9.3 Maintenance dry dust extractors


Pre-filter Change and Cleaning

Pre filters are recommended to change every 6 months. Never clean the filter with compressed air or high pressure cleaner. The HEPA filter should never be cleaned, it can be vacuumed from the top with a HEPA equipped dust extractor.

HEPA Filter Change 

Husqvarna recommends to replace HEPA filters every 12 months. The HEPA filters should never be cleaned. Cleaning it may destroy it. Use a plastic bag to immediately cover the HEPA filter when removing it, to not expose the hazardous dust.

9.4 Pre-filter A-line


Pre-filter A-line 

The pre-filters on the air cleaners should never be cleaned, cleaning it might destroy it which will result in more particles reaching the HEPA filter.

Ensure that no warning lights are flashing after the filter has been change. 

 

The yellow light on the back tells you when it's time to change the pre-filter.

9.5 Maintenance wet vacuums


Maintenance wet vacuums 

Disconnect and clean the pump. Do not use high pressure water to clean the pump. It will destroy it.

Make sure to check and clean the floating device. Visually check the float to ensure that it is not damaged. If it's damaged, the float might not work to protect the motor as intended.

Always run clean water through the pump before placing in storage.

9.6 Personal protective equipment


Always use appropriate PPE when working with equipment that generates or collect’s dust and slurry.  This is even more important when carrying out periodic maintenance, cleaning or repair of dusty equipment.

Proper PPE and practice should include: 

  • Safety glasses
  • Firm fitting gloves
  • Clothing that is not to lose nor restricting in movement
  • Hair tide back
  • Steel toed footwear
  • No exposed jewellery
  • Proper dust masks rated to P2 or higher
  • Hearing protection
