BATTERY-POWERED, CORDLESS CONVENIENCE
A number of battery products will be launched at the event, this includes the highly anticipated K 1 PACE high power battery cutter. In addition to delivering power and performance equivalent to petrol-powered cutters, the new model also offers the benefits battery powered equipment brings to both operators and the environment.
K 1 PACE is the first product to feature Husqvarna’s new battery system PACE and is available as a 12” or 14” (300/350 mm) machine as well as a 14’’ (350 mm) Rescue power cutter. It offers enhanced safety through X-Halt™ a blade brake function capable of stopping the rotation of the blade in fractions of a second.
K 1 PACE performance is optimised by our specially designed diamond blades, which will also be shown. Available in 12” or 14” (300 mm or 350 mm), they help maximise cutting depth and
increase performance.
As well as the PACE battery platform we will also be presenting our newest battery products for i-series battery products, part of an ecosystem of products including Husqvarna's Forest and
Garden machines.
On display will be the new DM 540i battery core drill motors, optimised for handheld drilling 15–75 mm and up to 100 mm on a drill stand. Powerful and lightweight with impressive ergonomics, it allows for easier handling and a more productive working day while placing less physical strain on the user.
Related battery powered products are the new DE 110i dust extractor, the WT 15i water tank which will also be launched, as well as the already popular K 535i 9” battery power cutter.
SAFETY FIRST
Safety and ergonomics have been at the core of our design philosophy ever since the beginning, in 2022 Husqvarna SmartGuard range will expand to our 12” and 16” power cutters, including the K 770, K 1270 and K 7000. Husqvarna SmartGuard is developed to reduce the likelihood of accidents or severe injuries in circumstances when a kickback may occur. It enhances safety when cutting hard materials in confined spaces e.g. pipe cutting. It's designed to guide the operator to start cutting in the correct cutting zone and to visually inspect the condition to ensure a secure functionality.
